Lately I’ve been thinking about this question:
What is the best enterprise AI search software?
And honestly, the more I look into it, the more I feel like—
👉 there’s no single “best,” only what fits your company best.
I’ve been exploring a few popular options recently. Here are some quick, real impressions 👇

👉 Glean
A lot of people recommend it for a reason.
Biggest strength: it connects everything—Google Drive, Slack, Notion—and lets you search across all of them in one place.
Great if your company’s information is scattered everywhere.
👉 Downside: not exactly cheap, might be a stretch for smaller teams.
👉 Moveworks
This one goes beyond search—it actually does things.
For example, instead of just answering IT questions, it can resolve them for you.
👉 Makes a lot of sense for companies with heavy internal support needs.
👉 Elastic
More of a “builder’s tool.”
If you have a strong engineering team and want to create your own AI search system, it’s super powerful.
👉 But definitely not plug-and-play—you’ll need resources to manage it.
👉 Coveo
More focused on customer experience—think e-commerce or support.
It personalizes search results and recommendations.
👉 Great if UX really matters for your business.
💭 My current takeaway:
- Small teams / startups → Glean for simplicity
- Heavy IT automation → Moveworks
- Strong engineering team → Elastic
- Customer-facing / e-commerce → Coveo
👀 Curious to hear from others:
- What are you using at your company?
- Any tools that looked great but didn’t live up to expectations?
- Or anything underrated that more people should know about?
Would love to swap notes and avoid some painful mistakes 🙌
